It's Fall? Wait. When did that sneak up on us?!
Fall always seems to sweep in with its own vibe—fresh proactive energy, ideas, and yes, those ever-changing fashion trends.
While some women eagerly swap flip-flops for boots practically the minute September hits, others might feel that keeping up with the latest trends is just a tad bit overwhelming … and unnecessary, quite frankly.
I admit, my feelings about the latter, even as a professional stylist, are agreeable to some extent.
The pressure to revamp every season can be excessive.
Yes, fashion changes with the seasons, just as we do. But revamping your wardrobe doesn’t mean you need a complete overhaul—more so a strategic refresh: adding a few high-impact pieces that can offer versatility.
Now, as we cozy into fall, you might be stepping back into the office more regularly, or thinking about how you can refresh those two go-to "Zoom shirts" that might be feeling a bit ... well, overzoomed. It may be time for a breakup.
So, as you sip your pumpkin spice latte (they‘re back!), let me share some of my favorite finds that are in line with 2024 fall fashion trends but are also timeless. They complement any style, shape, or size, and have made it onto my clients’ shopping lists. Now they're here for you too. It’s all about what you style these pieces with that can guide you in so many directions from work-to-weekend.
Whatever you need, wherever you’re starting from, it doesn’t have to be a hassle. Here at Elevated Style, we’re all about effortless chic—that instantly elevates your everyday vibe, however YOU define it.
Because really, who has time for extra fuss?

1. Suede: This Fall's Must-Have Texture
It’s not just for Elvis anymore! Don't get me wrong, leather is still slaying it after solid years as the #1 fab textile. I'm not retiring my leather skirts or jackets anytime soon. But this season, it's all about suede stepping into the spotlight. Luxe but never stuffy, suede adds a plush edge whether it's boots on your feet, a belt cinching your waist, or a fun bag. Loving the combo of luxe and laid-back? Check out this gorgeous SPRWMN suede trench a client adored, or wrap yourself in a classic-style suede belt. And these Staud tall suede knee-highs are currently in my cart.
2. Burgundy and Brown: The Perfect Fall Color Palette For 2024
This fall, it's all about warm olives, rich burgundies, and lush chocolate browns. These shades are like the comfort food of your wardrobe—everyone can pull them off, but the secret sauce? It's all in picking the right hues and shades for your complexion. Not just for this season, but for any season. Go for a versatile pair of chocolate brown boots or affordable but chic burgundy pants like these Riviera pants at Loft. We’ve got you covered.

3. Comfortable and Chic: Heels, Sneakers, and Everything in Between
Heels are back, but sneakers never left. The comeback of heels post-Covid is real, but let's be honest, comfort STILL reigns supreme. I don’t care how cute a shoe is: if it ain't comfy, don’t buy it. Period. Gone are the days when you had to choose between style and comfort. Hello, edgy sneakers, classy platforms and chic heels like these classic kitten heels from one of my fave comfy shoe brands, Ally NYC. Whether you’re all about that heel life or have pledged allegiance to sneakers, check out these warm white Vejas. Alternatively, you also can't go wrong with a Prada loafer. There's a shoe for every foot this fall.

4. Animal Print: Bold Patterns To Wear This Fall
To all my Jersey girls—leopard print is officially back! Always a classic, animal print comes out to play in ways that can be subtly sophisticated or boldly audacious. You choose. Stick to a smaller, neutral print for the office, but when it's time for cocktails? Go big with bolder splashes of the print scale or alternative colors. Whether it’s a statement belt or a full-on look, let your inner feline out elegantly as Jackie O did it, or as wild and fun as Betsy Johnson like the Max Mara tiger print Vidim coat. This J Crew crinkle sheer leopard blouse is such a cute option that is not “too much”. The Tabitha Belt will perfectly cinch a dress to create that flattering waistline.

5. Draped Tops: The Silhouette Of The Season
No passé cowl necks here. The draped neckline is its more stylish sister. Artful and strategically draped tops like this staple from Line & Dot can flatter without fuss. Perfect for Zoom calls or real-life presentations, these tops strike a delicate balance between relaxed and effortlessly refined. Just watch the length and bulk—too much fabric or too boxy is a no-go. Styled right, though, they’re a game-changer for any silhouette, whether paired with smart trousers or wide-leg jeans. The Kaleen top by Rails is a subtle sexy stunner, yet in an understated relaxed way.
Even though these are fall 2024 trends, they are also timeless trends that will flow in and out over the seasons.
