Summer Thoughts & Life Hurdles
Can I share something with you?
At the start of summer I started feeling anxious about life in general … again.
I had not felt that anxiety since the start of the pandemic in 2020. Back then I freaked out about the future of Elevated Style, being at home homeschooling my 8 and 10 year old boys full-time, and bickering with my husband more. That’s real talk.
What does femininity mean to you?
Fierce.
Elegant.
Authentic.
I’ve always been fascinated with images of powerful female figures who seem to ooze confident, effortless swag.
Confidence is an undeniable presence. That “thing” people notice.
Neutral Essentials Always Reign Supreme
One of the first things I help new clients identify are 3 words that describe their “style personality.”
For example: my 3 words are FUN, BOLD, and EDGY- SOPHISTICATION.
For me, part of being “bold” is implementing fun color, or unique patterns.
Even though color may be my go-to, my wardrobe wouldn’t work without neutral essentials to lay the foundation.
How To Rock Color With Confidence
What’s a common style mishap I see most in this new normal of Zoom life?
Wearing unflattering colors that don’t represent the true YOU or complement your complexion. So many are hesitant about color, simply because they don’t know how to make it work for them. I get it. That’s why I happily get to do what I do! Trust me, embrace color, and your style confidence blooms.
Every woman should define what I call her “Signature Power Palette.”
